This is a rather tricky mission where you're dealing with many different types of mobs. Wind Riders with both skill interrupts and enchantment removal; Moss Scarabs that use armor-ignoring touch skills; Life Pods with Orison of Healing and Heal Other; and, Maguuma Avengers with two different snares, one of which, Ice Prison, that lasts for 18 seconds.
Mission
- The start of this mission can be quite challenging because of the three Wind Riders, which have Cry of Frustration to interrupt anything and Shatter Enchantment to remove enchantments. There's also no room at the start of the mission to play on their leash range. There are currently two methods for handling the start of this mission:
- The first method, which had been the only method for quite a long time, is to first pull the Jungle Troll and kill it separately from the 3x Wind Riders. Afterwards, you want to fight the 3x Wind Riders using the hill for Line of Sight blocking. This means the only damage you'll take is the -5 degen and Cry of Frustration interrupts. Below are a couple different methods to handle this:
- If you have low-energy skills, such as Dark Pact, or a high energy capacity, such as through Energy Storage, you can spam a lot of skills and bait the enemy's interrupts. They can only interrupt 3 skills every 15 seconds.
- You can use only 1/4 second cast time skills, such as Wastrel's Worry. Since they won't recast Conjure while it's on you, and won't interrupt if you don't use other skills, WW should kill them off quite quickly and safely.
- Instead of using LOS, you can apply degen to a Wind Rider and use an Increased Movement Speed skill to break their aggro and then repeat this process.
- Since there's no snare, as a melee, you can spike one of them down and then break aggro using an IMS.
- The other method is to run by the first group, into the Entangled Root's room. Continue running all the way into the northern alcove and once you do, the exit from this room will open up. Alternatively, sometimes you can run straight into the Entangled Root's room and go out the exit before it closes without having to run into the alcove at all. The downside of this method is that you then have no room in this space to play on the leash range of the Moss Scarabs.

Below are a couple different methods to handle this:
- When killing the Entangled Roots, try to do so as far away as possible to avoid triggering any popup Life Pods within the room.
- In the area with the Centaurs, be wary of the Maguuma Avenger's Ice Prison. This hex lasts for 18 seconds and can easily cause you to be overran and surrounded by the rest of the group. It has another snare hex, Shard Storm, but this is a projectile and be blocked through line of sight.
- Additionally, the Maguuma Enchanter has Leech Signet.
- In the the long corridor where you begin to head south, there are at least a dozen spider pop ups. Line of sight is particularly useful here.
- In the final room, there are three waves with three spiders in each wave. A boss spider exists in the final wave. This boss has Troll Unguent, so be prepared to handle that. The 1st group and 3rd group can be completely LOS blocked if you stand just up the ramp. See precise location here.
- Evennia doesn't need to survive at the end. However, you can use her to survive because she heals you.
