Optimized Factions Route

This guide is a step-by-step walkthrough on how to get from Kaineng Center to Imperial Sanctum in the most optimized route. It includes pictures for running routes, as well as instructions on how to Gate Glitch at certain locations. For information on how to complete a specific mission, check those specific articles.

Completing the Campaign

Pure Running

Bukdek Byway

• Equip your running build, leave Kaineng Center, and head south to The Marketplace.

Running with some Damage

• This next section of running involves killing specific enemies to perform a gate glitch. Afterwards, there are two dozen Vermin to run past, which can knockdown with an offhand attack.
  • You'll be killing groups consisting of Am Fam Marksman, Am Fah Healers, Am Fah Necromancers, and Am Fah Assassins in Wajjun Bazaar. You can either run past or kill the Vermin in Xaquang Skyway. Prepare your build accordingly.

Wajjun Bazaar

• Go to the wooden bridge in the above route. You'll see 3x Am Fam Marksman in front of you.
  • Kill the 3x Am Fam Marksman. This group composition is always the same.

• From the eastern edge of the bridge, you'll see 2x Am Fah Necromancers and 2x Am Fah Assassins at a "T" cross section.
  • Ignore this group for now. You may want to kill some of this group after the next step. This group composition is always the same.

• Move to the Canthan Peasant just south of you to activate a patrol of 5x Am Fam.
  • This group composition changes. You'll need at least 1x Am Fah Assassin for the upcoming gate glitch. Kill this entire group except for 1x Am Fah Assassin.
  • Be wary with fighting this group and retreating. You can easily extend their leash range with quick breaks of aggro and re-aggros.
  • If the group composition is too difficult to kill (such as having more than 1x Am Fah Healer), you can merely re-zone and run back here.

• After everything but that 1x Am Fah Assassin is dead, let that Assassin continue back on it's long north/south route on the upstairs area. When it passed by the group of 2x Am Fah Necromancers and 2x Am Fah Assassins at the "T" cross section, you can kill them. While killing this group, be sure to watch the 1x Am Fah Assassin we left alive and make sure not to kill it.

• Kill the 3x Am Fam Marksman to the east just beyond the "T" cross section.

• Check the bridge that leads into Xaquang Skyway and confirm that the spawns under the bridge won't aggro onto you as you gate glitch.

• Extend the leash range of the remaining 1x Am Fah Assassin to the entrance to Xaquang Skyway and gate glitch.

Xaquang Skyway

• This area can be ran through. Be aware though that if you get hit even once by a Vermin with their lead attack Jagged Strike, they will then cast the spell Entangling Asp to knock you down, which will lead to every Vermin with them doing the same and you'll be in a chain knockdown situation.

• Enter Senji's Corner

Pure Running

Nahpui Quarter (explorable area)

• Equip your running build and run from Nahpui Quarter (explorable area) to Shenzun Tunnels, using the route below.

Shenzun Tunnels

• Run to Maatu Keep, using the route below.

• Enter Maatu Keep

Pongmei Valley

• Leave Maatu Keep and enter Pongmei Valley. You'll need to gate glitch into Boreas Seabed using a neutral, charmable animal that you've turned hostile, a Rot Wallow, or the Luxon Warrior at the res shrine. Follow the route below.

Pure Running

Boreas Seabed (explorable area)

• Equip your running build and run from Zos Shivros to Mount Qinkai, using the route below.

Mount Qinkai

Run to Breaker Hollow, using the route below.

Archipelagos (part 1)

Run from Break Hollow to Cavalon, using the route below.

Run from Cavalon to Maishang Hills, using the route below.

Run from Archipelagos to Gyala Hatchery, and then gate glitch using a neutral, charmable animal that you've turned hostile or a Luxon Warrior at the res shrine, as seen below.

Running with some Damage

• This next section can mostly be ran. I tend to grab the blessing from the priest and then drag the Rot Wallows over to them to kill them, 3x at a time.
• Once down in the Jade Sea, lots of groups will be fighting each other. Use this to your advantage to be able to walk by without too much trouble.
• There are many different routes to do this run, the below is just one such route.
