Moddok Crevice

Mission

  • This mission can mostly be ran and then you can focus on three enemies: 10x Kournan Bowman, General Bayel, and The Hunger.

Kournan Bowmen

  • These can all be killed from LOS blocking. The first six can be killed from below the bridge. The two to the north, just past the bridge, can be LOS blocked from the ramp up to them. And the last two can be LOS blocked using a large rock just south of the bridge.
  • Note that you might want to keep a Bowman alive if you use adrenaline skill, to benefit from Infuriating Heat (2x adrenaline gain)

General Bayel and The Hunger

  • Bayel and Hunger's (and Bowmen's if they are still alive) AI and location will change once one of them die.

General Bayel

  • This Monk boss has a few skills that make him annoying. He can remove hexes with Smite Hex. He can negate damage and send it back to you (x2 because he is a Nightfall Boss) with Reversal of Damage. And he has a spam-able heal in the form of Signet of Devotion.
  • He can be LOS blocked by going up stairs, just north of the bridge.

The Hunger

  • The Hunger can be escorted up stairs to the bridge, and then with a IMS, broken, and attacked from below.
  • The Hunger can also be corner glitched as seen here
  • The Hunger movement speed is slower than the normal movement speed.

  • Note that The Hunger has an attack skill, Hunger's bite, that:
    • Makes The Hunger behave as if it had a Touch skill (easily overextending/chasing you)
    • Has no cooldown
    • Can be interrupted but cannot be disabled with skills like Diversion and dshot
    • Can be blocked
    • Inflicts a random condition and steal 30 HP for each condition on the target. For this reason, killing the Hunger with a pet or as a melee usually doesn't work.

Bonus

  • Bonus completion will require you to do the following (more details can be found on Moddok Crevice wiki page):
    • Get to the Western path
    • Stay at the waterfall while the corsair group patrols, and sneak back unnoticed onto the western path
    • Hug the eastern wall
    • Kill the Corsair Runners before they reach the spot where they trigger more Corsair spawns
  • You will likely need to kill everything up to the Corsair Runners section.
  • Killing the Corsair Runners before they run away is considered the hardest part of the bonus. However, you can kill the one on the left by hugging the north wall, finding the longbow/flatbow range by doing baby steps, and shooting with a longbow or flatbow to slowly kill the left Runner – everything without triggering them. You then only need to trigger the remaining Corsair Runner and kill him before he leaves.
