This mission can be ran, bonus included.
Mission
When running this mission consider the following:
- If you pull enemies on the Ghostly Hero, he will fight them and probably lose.
- The Swords will cripple you with hamstring.
- The Mesmer Boss will hex you with a snare, Ethereal Burden. Note that you will not necessarily face this boss cause the placement of bosses is random.
- Holding the Vision Crystal slows down your character, and so dropping it to lose aggro is often a good idea.
- Most of the incoming damage while running is from Stoning, used by the Forgotten Arcanist.
- There is no enchantment removal in NM.
- Once you pick up the second crystal, a gate will open and several groups of enemies will invade the area.
- There are two gates that lead to the Ghostly Hero: if one is crowded with enemies, consider using the second one
If for some reason you choose to not run, consider the following:
- The Ghostly Priest at the beginning will fight the enemies, but is very weak
- When you approach a Splinter Mine, a ward appears. Do not stay inside that ward: it causes cripple and bleeding at regular intervals. You can deactivate Splinter Mines by touching them; the core you obtain can be placed next to enemies to cause cripple and bleeding to them (but it is single use).
- Minotaurs at the beginning are in group of 1-3.
- The bonus Priests you make appear with the crystal will try to reach the Ghostly Hero and fight everything on the way. They are Eles and deal good AoE damage.
- Rangers have blind (Throw Dirt) and monks are good healers (Word of Healing).
Bonus
- Be sure to take the very first Vision Crystal to the nearby Ritual Priest, otherwise you'll have to restart to get the bonus.
