This mission has gone through a few different revisions of strategies. The initial strategy was to quickly kill the bosses in order from Warrior to Elementalists before the Citadel flipped, completely ignoring any enemy spawns. A different tactic that appeared recently was to kill the Warrior boss first, then come back to our friendly NPCs and help them recover against the enemy spawns, then kill the Monk and Paragon boss, then again come back to our friend NPCs and then, finally, kill the Elementalist boss. However, both of these tactics involve a race against the clock.
The current strategy is much more leisurely. Set all the ally NPCs to hold down the center. Then, let the East and West Bombardment turn red before the bosses spawn, so that when the bosses spawn, both the Warrior boss and the Elementalist Boss will approach the bridge and can be pulled into our large center-holding allied force. From here on in, you can take your time with the Monk and Paragon boss since all their Kournan spawns will be running into our large center-holding allied forces.

Keep in mind that allied NPCs in this mission don't behave as normal unless you have them in your radar range (read: they don't fight if you're out of radar range).
Mission
As the mission begins, talk to the three Disciples of Secrets and instruct them to hold down the center. There will now be seven spawns that happen before the bosses spawn, in roughly the following order:
- Center
- Center
- East
- East
- West
- Center
- Center
The order of these groups can change slightly, depending on when the previous groups are killed. Each of these groups spawn when the previous group has died.
Also, you'll notice there's a group of 3x Vabbian Guards that aren't part of the ones we were able to send to a location. These are version that have Healing Signet and so they are quite tanky. This group also doesn't spawn exactly in the same location every time. This means there is a lot of variance as to whether they aggro certain groups of spawns from the seven mentioned above.
It's very helpful if all three of these Vabbian Guards live, as they will hold the aggro of Kournan mobs during the crucial time when your center-holding allied forces are fighting the Warrior and Elementalist Bosses and their groups.
East Bombardment
There will be two groups that go to the East, one after the other. You'll need to let one of these two groups flip this Bombardment red. If you let the first group flip it red, then make sure you don't let the second group run across the bridge. If you let the second group flip it red, then your NPC allies might aggro this group while killing the first group. Either method is fine.
Once the bombardment has flipped to red, make sure the group that flipped it, as well as any additional groups, don't cross the bridge to fight the guards at the end of it. Once the bosses spawn, you can let groups cross the bridge since no further groups will spawn until either that group dies or the boss dies. The idea is to kill the bosses once they spawn to prevent any further spawns instead of killing this infinitely respawning reinforcements.
West Bombardment
There is only one group that spawns from the west and stands on the West Bombardment. Most of the group will die merely to the bombardment's AOE damage. Let this bombardment flip red.

Boss Spawns
Once the bosses spawn, you'll want to immediately pull the Warrior Boss into your large center-holding allied forces. It should immediately die. Shortly after, you'll then want to pull the Elementalist Boss into your large center-holding allied forces.
At this point, some mobs have gotten into the Citadel and will be making their way to the Citadel holding-point. Keep an eye on this tracker and go defend it if necessary. It should only be 3-4 mobs that are flipping it and when you approach the Citadel, your allied NPCs will function again making the cleanup quite easy. Don't stick around to reflip the Citadel since your allied NPCs will be dying in the center bombardment while you're up here in the Citadel, as they've now stopped functioning since you're not within radar range of them.
However, you don't want to actually clear out the Citadel unless it's actively flipping. Instead, after the Warrior and Elementalist bosses are dead, you'll want to head over to the Paragon boss and kill it.
If you kill the Paragon boss, and the citadel still isn't flipping, you can head over to the Monk boss now.
Monk Boss
There's a few ways to handle the Monk boss. The best way is to pull it away from it's Margonite allies and fight it one-on-one. This can be done before the center bombardment flips red.
However, you can also just let the center bombardment fall, which will cause this group to run forward, and then you can easily pull the Monk away from its Margonite allies.
The last resort is to fight the Monk boss at the Citadel with the allies there. Besides the Margonites, the Monk boss should be grouped with mostly rangers. Therefore, you can LOS him from the Citadel quite easily. Once the Monk boss is dead, the mission ends.
Other notes
- Adrenaline users can abuse the fact that spirit of Infuriating Heat is almost everywhere (doubled adrenaline gain)
- Margonites sometimes use Abaddon's Chosen. If they do, you'll be unable to deal damage to them for 10 seconds; but they won't be able to heal either (whatever the way).
- Once at the Bombards, bosses can be killed from height with a flatbow or longbow without them noticing you (it is not useful if you follow the recommended tactics though)
- If the mission is too hard, consider farming Lightbringer Points south of the outpost to get the bonus against margonites
Bonus
Doing this mission with bonus will require you to not loose more than 1 bombard. For this reason, you cannot follow the recommended tactics described above. Instead, you're gonna need to be effective and fast in killing the bosses Some tips:
- Here, the preferred way is to place 2 allied groups middle and 1 east. Once the bosses spawn, pull the Warrior boss away from his group and kill it quickly, then defend west bombard (you can pull enemies on the middle allies): this set west side safe. Continue by killing the Monk boss if possible, or defend the bombards (especially east one). The next steps are highly gonna depend on what's going on.
- Having a big lightbringer title will help you get fast enough
- It is highly advised to prevent any ally from dying during the first phase
