Consulate Docks
This mission only involves killing various enemies and doesn't require keeping any specific NPC alive. In the locations where the enemy spawns are random, too many Kournan Priests can force a resign. You'll have to bring a hero, but you can pin it at the start and leave it there. You will need to pin it again after he get teleported to you during the cutscene.
Mission
- Rangers at the start of the mission have Troll Unguent and can all be LOS blocked.
- All the rangers at the top of stairs can easily be LOS blocked. They each are in a different group, meaning they can use the same skill at the same time (especially Infuriating Heat). They will only use Whirling defense if you attack them with a martial weapon: as a melee, you can bait the skill by attacking with a bow or spear, and attack the rangers while the skill is recharging.
- The groups that spawn at the Paragon Boss will eventually stop spawning.
- These groups can be fought at the top of the stairs, with your archer allies.
- The Paragon Boss can be LOS blocked.
- When fighting Kournan Siege Engineers, keep low (< 50%) energy to negate their Ether Feast heals.
- There are a lot of enchantment removal skills.
- The Dervish boss won't move or attack unless you get next to him.
- After acquiring allies, it might be wise to let Lonai use the 5x Corpses of Sunspear Warriors to build up a minion army. Note that you can keep these allies for later if you wish, by talking to them when you need them.
- The room just after you acquire allies has random spawns. Three Kournan Priests here could mean a restart depending on your build.
- In the room before the Elementalist boss (before the cutscene), it is likely that enemies get stuck on the siege engines while "trying to get home", since as stationary enemies their leash range is small.
- For the Elementalist Boss, all of their skills require LOS except Meteor. The Kournan Elite Spears also require LOS. Meaning, if you can kill the melee, you'll just have to eat a Meteor on occasion.
- Be wary of the group to the NE after the Warrior Boss. Their height gives them a longer range and they have a spotter.
- If you hug the left wall and kill the archers up the stairs at cast-range, the spotter won't approach until you step up the stairs. You can then kill it LOS.
- The final two groups each have a warrior. If you leash the warrior, you can then LOS the paragons.
Bonus
Bonus only requires you to kill 3 additional groups, which should not be more difficult than the rest of the mission. Just be cautious of the Kournan Spotters.
